Advanced Offshore Technologies
RaycoWylie's offshore offering extends well beyond RCI displays — a full ecosystem of sensors, telemetry, camera systems, and automation tailored for the most demanding maritime environments.
At Sea Hercules we have been installing the RaycoWylie Rated Capacity Indicator on our new built offshore cranes since 1996. The RaycoWylie system was installed on the Baker Marine cranes models BMC 900, BMC 1600, BMC 2250 and are installed now on our latest models SH2000-S, SH2000-SE, SH2000-LW, SH2000-M. Sea Hercules and RaycoWylie has developed a great partnership over the last 30 years, providing us with a very reliable product and an around-the-clock service in the region.
Boom Tip, Hoist & Rear View
RaycoWylie has developed the i4500 and i4650 systems with multiple camera inputs — reducing cab space and allowing the operator to view load and critical data on a single screen.
- Winch-view camera — sensor 1/2.9, night vision 8–10 m, IP69K, -20°C to +70°C
- Explosion-proof boom tip camera — stainless steel housing for Zone 1/2
- Compatible with numerous camera manufacturers
- Rear view and hoist view configurations available
Integrated or Stand-Alone
The RaycoWylie automated Lubrication System prevents expensive repairs and keeps equipment fully operational by maintaining greaseable components in excellent condition at all times.
- Prevents wear and costly repairs on greaseable components
- Integration with i4500 series on demand
- Available as a stand-alone system
- Designed for turntable automatic lubrication on offshore cranes
Weighing & Totalizing
The i4650 mud system monitors and totalizes the weight of drilling mud across up to 24 tanks simultaneously, providing the mud engineer with all data required to control the well.
- i4510 central unit with 10" screen — up to 24 tanks
- Weight per tank and total by group of tanks
- Load sensors adapted for hazardous zone locations
- Real-time reporting; supports sequential tank unloading for ballasting
Station Keeping
Monitors line pull, wire rope speed, length, payout and take-up with integrated GPS for precise vessel station keeping during subsea inspection, maintenance, and pipeline repair operations.
- Centralized indication for up to 24 winches
- GPS location screen integrated into i4650 display
- Mix screens: winches, alarms and GPS location
- Available on i4650 Touch Screen 15" or 12"
Derricking Barge
Barge-mounted cranes come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Our systems have been designed with the flexibility to suit every application — from the smallest single hoist cranes to multi-hoist heavy lift barge cranes.
Using the latest in sensor technology and CAN bus communication, systems can be quickly installed and calibrated to monitor load, SWL, radii, boom angle, over-hoist conditions, X/Y list/trim angles, camera inputs, data logging, wind speed, slew position, virtual wall range limiting, hook height, and hoist rope pay-out/pay-in.
